Problem
The radiology unit needed to respond rapidly to an unanticipated increase in neurology referrals which was almost certainly going to lead to longer waiting lists.
Solution
After a competitive tendering process, Agito Medical was commissioned to provide an additional mobile MRI unit, to work alongside the existing hospital team.
Results
The customer is very happy that the additional MRI unit has enabled the Radiology Department to handle an increasing number of referrals, without impacting waiting times for patients. The success of intervention has led to the customer extending the contract with Agito Medical.
