From planning to removal of your equipment

A dismantling and removal project consists of many small steps and tasks taking place within a tight time frame. This requires very good planning and organisation on beforehand in order to achieve a smooth and professional solution. Therefore a dedicated project manager is assigned to each removal project. This person gives support throughout the whole process - to reassure a successful removal, causing as little time spent for the hospital, and as much value for the overall process.

Defining the challenge

Planning a project starts with defining the challenge we are facing, as for example what kind of equipment are we dealing with, where is it located, how can it be dismantled, where can it be taken out, and what tools and equipment are needed for this project. Depending on the site situation, all these questions can be answered through close cooperation and communication between you and Agito Medical's project manager, or through an inspection performed by one of our engineers, project managers or partners.

Dismantling the equipment

Upon arrival of our engineering team, a typical morning briefing with all involved parties is held in order to go through all practical aspects, to check the system and to cut off the power supply from your system which is be done in cooperation with your local electrician. These steps are important in order to guarantee a safe working environment and to assure that no other rooms in your department are affected. Afterwards, the Agito Medical team place all needed tools and equipment to finally start with the dismantling.

Outtake

After dismantling the system all components are packed and prepared for outtake and afterwards loaded on a transport vehicle. The outtake route for all equipment is defined on beforehand, in cooperation with you. By this, any unnecessary disturbance of the daily working life at the hospital can be avoided.

At some occasions, we even have the possibility of doing crane outtakes, sometimes at the same time as a new system is being taken in. This saves a lot of time and money, especially when it comes to civil works in order to get the system out of the building.

Ready for the new equipment

After dismantling and removal of your system, the engineering and outtake crew leaves you with an empty and clean room - ready for renovation or installation of your new system!
